The Red Cross Gala will take place on Thursday, April 27th from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Union Station (510 W Martin Street) in Raleigh. Individual tickets are $250 and can be purchased at redcross.org.

The Maple Springs Community Church will present Mercy’s Well in concert on Sunday, April 30th at 11:00. The church is located at 6231 North Carolina Highway 22 in Ramseur. The concert is free, but there will be a love offering.
Triangle Land Conservancy and the Raleigh Astronomy Club are holding First Friday Under the Stars on Friday, May 5th from 7:30 until 11:00 pm. This event will take place at Three Bears Private Reserve (711 Beaver Dam Road) in Creedmoor. The event is free, but registration is required. Register at triangleland.org.

The Friends of the Lee County Library will host their Annual Book Sale on May 11th through the 13th at the main branch on Hawkins Avenue. Thursday will be Member Preview Night from 5 to 8 pm, with memberships available for purchase. Friday’s hours are 9 to 5, and Saturday’s hours are 9 to noon.
Drive for the Arc 2023 is on Friday, May 12th from 9 until 2 at the Seven Lakes Golf Club (124 East Devonshire Avenue) in West End. This golf tournament benefits the Arc of Moore. Cost is $100 per person and includes green fees, cart, and lunch. Tickets can be purchased at thearcofmoore.org.
National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food drive is Saturday, May 13th. Participating in this year’s Food Drive is simple. Just leave a non-perishable food donation in a bag by your mailbox Saturday, May 13th and your letter carrier will do the rest. These donations go directly to a local food pantry.
The Westminster Presbyterian Church’s Springfest Yard Sale is on Saturday, May 13th from 7 until noon. The church is located at 2505 Village Drive in Fayetteville. All proceeds help children of Cumberland County.
