Jones Chapel United Methodist Church – 89 Jones Chapel Road in Sanford is holding a Spring Barbeque Dinner and Indoor Sale on Saturday, April 27th from 5 to 6:30.  Dinner is $12 per person – children under four are free. Proceeds will help benefit the church’s community outreach.

Whispering Pines Garden Club will hold a Spring Plant Sale, Saturday, April 20th from 8 to noon at 1320 Ray’s Bridge Road in Whispering Pines. A wide variety of annuals, vegetables and perennials will be available.  Proceeds go to the beautification of gardens throughout the village.
