A Veteran’s Day ceremony will be held at 11:00 at the north side of the Capitol Building in Raleigh.

Benson's Veterans Day Celebration is from 11 to 6 and consists of a Run for the Brave 5K, parade on Main Street, live music in the Grove, North Carolina Whole Hog BBQ Cook-Off plus a Kid's Zone along with a Full Throttle Car and Motorcycle Show.
Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 966 will be displaying 500 American Flags at the West End Fire Department (Routes 211 and 73 in West End) from Saturday November 4th thru Sunday the 12th, honoring living and deceased military personnel. A dedication ceremony will be on Sunday November 5th at 2:00. All are invited to attend.

The baseball field at South Asheboro Middle School will be transformed into a Field of Honor with 500 U.S. flags posted in perfect rows and columns in tribute to Veterans, First Responders, Military, and other heroes. The display is open to all without charge.

In Apex, there will be a Veterans Day Ceremony at the Service Memorial on the corner of Saunders Street and North Salem Street at 9:30 am.
The Southern Pines Veterans parade in downtown Southern Pines will begin with an opening ceremony at 9:30 am then the parade kicks off promptly at 10.

The meeting of the Sandhills Photography Club will be held on Monday, November 13th starting at 7:00 with Joseph Rossbach as its guest speaker.
