The Artist League of the Sandhills will host an opening reception titled “Fur, Fins, and Feathers” featuring original works by league members at their new “Exchange Street Gallery” on Friday, October 4 from 5 to 7 pm. A collection of wildlife prints by internationally acclaimed artist: Guy Coheleach will also be featured.

El Refugio (The Refuge) of Jonesboro United Methodist Church will host the 2019 Festival Latino on Saturday, October 5 from 10 am to 3 pm at the Mann Center in Sanford. Enjoy activities, food, music, prizes, a bouncy house, and more. Admission is free.

The Pinehurst Village Heritage Foundation will host the Flutterby Festival on Saturday, October 5 from 11 am to 2 pm at the Village Arboretum on Magnolia Road in Pinehurst. Enjoy fun activities, live music, food and more as you celebrate the new pollinator garden at the Village Arboretum.
