The Sanford Brush and Palette Club invites you to their 56th Annual Art Show, held at the Hales center on McIver Street in Sanford.  The show will take place from October 16th through the 23rd and features original artwork by local, member artists.  This event is free and open to the public.

Head to Weymouth Woods in Southern Pines on Sunday, October 17th for an “Old Growth Hike.” This 1-mile hike of the Boyd Round Timber Track will teach you the history of Weymouth Woods and the preservation of one of the last remaining Old growth strands of Longleaf Pine.  Meet at Weymouth Center.
