In lieu of the annual Christmas parade this year, Holly Springs will be hosting the Happy Holly Days Tree Trail at Ting Stadium on Main Street in Holly Springs. See trees decorated by local businesses – come during the day to avoid the crowds, or come at night to see the lights.
The Lee County locations of First Bank are helping to sponsor Operation Save Christmas – and each location will have a Salvation Army Angel tree and a drop box for cereal and peanut butter for Christians Untied Outreach Center until December 17.
The Moore County Veteran Service Office and the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC are sponsoring a Drive-Thru Veteran Food Distribution on Thursday, December 17 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Westmoore Center on Highway 705 in Robbins. For more information call 910-947-3257.
