Six Sanford downtown churches are once again gathering together in fellowship during the Thanksgiving holidays for a Community Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 24th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. All are welcome to attend at 203 Hawkins Avenue. Everyone is encouraged to bring canned goods to donate to the Christian United Outreach Center. An offering will also be taken. Sponsoring churches are Fair Promise AME Zion Church, First Calvary Baptist Church, First Presbyterian Church, St. Luke United Methodist Church, St. Stephen the First Martyr Catholic Church, and Trinity Lutheran Church.
