The League of Women Voters of Moore County and Southern Pines Public Library will host the State Archives of North Carolina exhibit, “An Absolute Moral Certainty: The Woman Suffrage Movement in North Carolina” on Wednesday, January 29. The exhibit includes the original copy of the Nineteenth Amendment, usually housed in the vault, that was sent to North Carolina for ratification in June of 1919. Display hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
