Pickin’ in the Pines, on October 15th starting at 5:00, will include an evening of first-class live Bluegrass music with headlining band The Lonesome River Band, and The Axe Handlers out of central North Carolina. An adult-only event, Pickin’ in the Pines always promises a magical evening of food, fun, and fellowship in the beautiful pines of Ellerbe (1296 Mallard Drive). The event includes a BBQ dinner cooked in the historical Millstone 4-H Camp dining hall, a silent auction, dancing, and more. Tickets for the event are $50.
